a sunny outlook

A few years ago I popped into 7-eleven on a Monday morning to grab a coffee. When the cashier asked me how my day was going I replied, eh it’s Monday. His response? That’s no way to spend 1/7th of your life. Geez. What a reality check. Since then I’ve tried to look at Monday’s as a fresh start instead of another weekend ending. You know what helps? A cute outfit!

This sweater is perfect for starting to transition your wardrobe to fall – which is a theme I’ll touch on a lot in this weeks posts. I know we’re not ready but it doesn’t really make sense to keep buying things for summer when it’s halfway over. Sorry to be the voice of reason but someone has to be sometimes. Oh and ps the sweater fits a bit over-sized but in a good way.

More Yellow for Fall:

Unfortunately these jeans sold out pretty quickly but I’m sure they’ll be back in stock soon. Keep checking and I’ll definitely let you know if I see them. They’re one of my favorite purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {but I’ve been saying that about almost everything, can’t stop won’t stop}.

What’s your approach to Monday’s? Are you glass half empty or glass half full sorta gal? I’d love to hear!

Cute outfits are definitely one of my solutions to Mondays or any day I’m feeling stressed and need that extra confidence and energy boost. And I rely on bright, cheery colors like this to help! This is such a sunny and fun summertime look, and the split back is such a neat touch!
