i realize i’m a day late but whatever it still counts! we closed on our house yesterday! it feels so good to finally be able to call it ours and i can’t wait to share all of the details with you! i’m not sure if i’ve mentioned it before but our “new” house is actually really old. it was built in 1965 and the majority of it hasn’t been updated since. there is carpet in the kitchen, y’all. demolition begins tomorrow and i’ll be sharing our “before” pictures next week!
last weekend when we were in chicago i really had the urge to shop but i felt bad dragging ken along with me {i know, i’m such a good wife like that}. but after bloody mary’s and then shake shack he was ready for a nap so when he headed back to the hotel for a bit i took the opportunity to go somewhere that i rarely step foot in – forever21! i had an open mind and i surprisingly found a lot of goodies including this dress. this is a piece that i’ll be able to wear all summer and maybe even into the fall with a pair of over the knee boots. it’s comfortable {i sized up to a medium, you never know with forever21} and can be dressed up or down. have you found anything at forever21 lately? i’d love to hear!
