classic swim style

When it comes to swimwear I’m typically drawn to bright colors and fun patterns. Something about the warm weather just brings it out of me. However, the summer after Annabelle was born I was doing a major purge and cleaned out my entire collection of bathing suits and bikinis {I’m pretty sure I still had some from high school} and started over with just one. A classic cut, classic color one-piece from J.Crew. It’s honestly still one of my favorite suits {even though I’ve added a few more to my collection since then} so I’ve tried to shift my mentality when I shop to only buy suits that will stand the test of time.

I have been admiring scalloped swimwear for a few years from a specific line that is completely out of my budget. When I came across this suit {top, bottom} it fit all the right notes – the color, cut, and price point we perfect – and I was so thrilled when it lived up to my sky high expectations. I paired it with a few additional classic pieces to create an effortless look.

I’ve rounded up a few more classic suits that I’d love to have in my closet!
