our new neighborhood has an annual halloween party at the park where kids trick or treat along a trail lined with jack-o-lanterns through the woods. since it’s our first year living here it was our first year attending and let me just tell you – it was the cutest! our good friends had a bunch of us over before the festivities started for chili and beer and annabelle got to debut her halloween costume. she’s batman {said in your raspiest bruce wayne voice}! she loved saying trick-or-treat and mostly remembered to say thank you after the candy was dropped into her pumpkin bucket. plus, it was 65 degrees out! all in all i’d say a great warm up to the main event next week. hope you had the best weekend!
