It’s not lost on me how much I talk about the weather. It truly is the gateway into almost any conversation and has such an impact on how we spend our days. It’s common to hear people who live in colder climates say that one of the benefits is getting to experience all four seasons which is mostly a coping mechanism for being freezing a good portion of your life but also very true. The leaves starting to change and the air getting crisp gets me every single year and I hope the excitement never wears off as long as I live here.
I’ve been pretty excited to start wearing more layers as the temperature drops and this jacket and these leggings are among a few of my favorite items for casual weekend wear. I like that they’re both basics that are updated either through texture or color to be just a bit edgy and fresh. Remind me to remind you next year that purchasing fall staples during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {which is where both of these came from} really does pay off!
