my thoughts on mother’s day
I was laying in bed last night {with both babies, because Annabelle fell asleep in our bed and the other one is never too far from me if you know what I mean} and I thought to myself, I can't believe God has made me a mama - TWICE! And then I instantly felt a little sad for all of the women who are struggling with their motherhood journey.

pregnancy update | 28 weeks
Happy Monday! Hope your Easter was hoppin'! I was going to skip doing an update this week since I'm up to my ears in other {probably} more important things but it's the third trimester and I've always been a really good procrastinator so what the heck, here goes!

Happy Friday, friends! I'm actually working from home today because Annabelle's school is closed in observance of Good Friday. We're getting very excited for Easter around here and we can't wait to celebrate it's true meaning, the resurrection of our Lord!

eggs and bunnies
We went to our first Easter egg hunt last weekend and let me tell you, it was a hit! As the parent of a toddler you never really know how something new is going to go over. Usually when we plan something fun as a family it goes pretty well and everyone leaves happy and I'm thrilled to say making a mad dash for candy filled eggs in 40 degree weather was one of them.
