When Ken suggested just a few days ago that we get tickets to the Red Wings first game in the new Little Caesars Arena I did not protest, mostly because I love beer and nachos but hey, go wings go and all that sports stuff too!
We’ve been watching the new arena go up for a couple years but hadn’t spent much time checking it out until last night. It is so nice and brings a whole new vibrancy to our city that is in such a rebuilding phase. I can’t wait to spend more time in the District Detroit area, checking out new bars and restaurants, and rooting for our city {and our teams} while we’re there.
Sometimes I struggle with what to wear to sporting events. I don’t own any sports apparel {I know, you’re shocked} but since I love a good theme I do try to incorporate the home teams colors into my outfit. In this case I picked a long sleeve tee and jeans and then added a pop of red so everyone knew who I was cheering for.
