last night ken and i decided to start celebrating friday a little early by sipping a couple of our current favorite cocktails. they’re both super simple and refreshing so i wanted to share in case you are looking to mix it up this weekend. happy friday, friends!
gin & tonic {makes one}
2 oz. hendrick’s gin
tonic
sliced cucumber garnish
guys, this one is pretty easy. fill your glass with ice, pour a healthy amount of hendrick’s in, fill the rest with tonic and then garnish with a few cucumbers. so good!
vodka & tonic with a twist {makes one}
two oz. tito’s vodka
one oz. st. germain liquor
tonic
sliced lime garnish
this one is maybe 5% more difficult than the gin & tonic but worth it. fill your glass with ice, add two parts vodka to one part st. germain, fill the rest with tonic and garnish with sliced limes. cheers!
I’ve never been a gin and topic fan. More of a fruity cocktail girl. Like more along the lines of a Tequila Sunrise with OJ or a Sex On The Beach (not quite sure what’s in there). I also like Stiegl Radler grapefruit beer lmao + Somersby (but this can get too sweet – I hate drinks that taste like candy).
