You guys, we went to Florida last week and had the best time! Sorry for the blog silence lately but we’ve actually been so busy with some blog related stuff and just some fun life stuff – I hope you understand! I have a full week of posts so get ready. We took thousands of pictures on our vacation which Ken edited down to hundreds which I’m going to break into four posts. FOUR! I know, probably too much but there are just too many not to share them all!
Annabelle’s shirt, pants, jacket, and shoes
The airplane with a toddler. We were nervous, you guys. We had all the tricks up our sleeves. Peppa pig episodes, snacks, coloring books, blocks, did I mention snacks? Our sweet girl did so good on the two hour flight. She was a little nervous on take off and did not appreciate the ‘bumpy’ turbulence. She also mentioned several times that she’d rather be in car but explaining to a two year old how long it takes to drive from Michigan to Florida is pretty complicated so we just nodded and gave her more snacks. She thanked the pilots as we walked off and even earned a pair of wings.
It was our first time in Delray Beach and we stayed at The Seagate. It could not have been nicer. The room was spacious and had a balcony {every room does!}, there was a nicer restaurant as well as a cafe type spot where you could get a quick breakfast, coffee to go, or ice cream in the evening, a really nice pool, and the best part by far was access to their private beach club. More to come on that on day three!
She adjusted to hotel life quickly.
After we settled in to our room we grabbed a quick bite to eat and celebratory ‘I survived a two hour flight + renting a car with a toddler’ cocktail. Sauvingnon blanc for mama and a chilled apple juice for my boo.
My new favorite t-shirt, the sleeve detail is adorable!
Her new favorite thing is eating on a couch.
I used this tote bag for my carry on/carry all and it was so practical, and such a great price!
The only two-piece I own, from Kingdom & State. I want all of their suits!
Her little caftan just kills me!
We ran out the night before we left and got her this Peppa Pig bathing suit, she was so excited to wear it!
After our quick swim we headed out to walk the main strip and find a spot for dinner.
Did I mention she was pretty in to that backpack?
I couldn’t wait to wear this new maxi dress from Chicwish, so bohemian chic.
Annabelle’s romper is sold out but here is a similar version.
After dinner I had my eyes on a fancy popsicle but my crew just wanted ice cream.
So we got both.
Like I said, real comfortable on vacation. Check back later this week for day two of our trip! xo
