You guys, yesterday was the Tuesday-ist Tuesday ever. Do you know what I mean? Thank goodness This Is Us was on. It’s was the only thing that could save me.
Most years I try to fight off embracing the cold weather as long as possible. I protest by not wearing a coat, keeping my mittens hidden away, and generally rebelling in ways that involve me being cold and it having zero effect on the actual weather. This year I’m taking a different approach by stocking up {and wearing} the warmest coats and bundling up at the first sign of a winter chill. Which unfortunately, is now.
This coat is adorable, sure. But what you may not realize is that it literally feels like you’re wearing the heaviest, warmest, blanket ever. The other thing I love about it is the sleeves are roomy enough that I can fit a bulky sweater or a bell sleeve underneath. And I just realized it’s on sale for under $100!
Speaking of bell sleeves, this shirt is such a fun take on a classic wardrobe staple. I can’t imagine a season that it wouldn’t work for.

And of course I can’t not mention my velvet bow and bejeweled shoes. I can’t get enough of this look. It’s probably too obvious that I’m trying to incorporate fun holiday inspired touches into my looks lately. I can’t help it!
