Our last full day in Florida was actually the chilliest of all the days we were there. Knowing that it was barely going to break 70 degrees we decided to plan a little adventure for the day so we headed out early for the Miami Zoo. It was not busy at all and I’m not sure if it was because of the “cooler” weather {there were actually people wearing snow coats and thermal hats – it’s so funny to see when we thought it was warm!} or the fact that it was a Wednesday morning but it was so fun to have to zoo almost all to ourselves!
She’s never met a slide she doesn’t like.
A lot of the exhibits were geared towards kids and had special lookout areas just for the little ones – Annabelle loved it.
We had the opportunity to feed a giraffe which was awesome! They were all very friendly but also very hungry. Annabelle was so brave and held the lettuce just like she would if she was giving Juneau a treat.
They totally have black tongues!
Can you believe how close we got?!
After the zoo we had a casual dinner near the beach and then walked around a bit, knowing we’d have to head to the airport early the next morning. I always hate when a vacation ends!
How perfect is this top for spring and summer? I’m rounding up a few of my favorite belle sleeve tops on the blog next week and this is definitely one!
Practicing her blogger poses, always.
On our last morning we walked around the hotel and said goodbye to everything before we left.
What I wouldn’t give to be laying there right now!
And then we went and ate all the snacks at the Delta Club before our flight.
She insisted every plane was ours. It was so sweet because she was a bit nervous but trying to be excited and brave. I can’t wait for our next adventure!
Thanks for following along on travels! PS Florida part one, two, and three!
