For the past few years a moto jacket has been an absolute staple in my closet. I wear it year round but find it most appropriate in the fall and spring when it’s not warm enough for a denim jacket and not cold enough for a parka {ps, winter never come back ok?}. This one has been my go-to since I’ve adopted the faux leather trend but as I was shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last week I came across this one and fell instantly in love when I saw the gold hardware.

I decided to pair my new jacket with a casual slip dress and sneakers. It is still summer, after all. I love this look for brunch, running errands on the weekend, or even date night.
