I’m definitely past the point in my life where I have at least a few weddings every summer. I was actually one of the last of my friends to get married so these days it’s more likely that I’ll be invited to a baby shower or first birthday party. However, we still have at least one or two weddings each year and I always look forward to selecting the perfect dress to wear to each one.
I love when an outfit makes a statement but still remains subtle and not overpowering. I came across this dress when I was shopping for our trip to Hawaii and I immediately snagged it. Not only is it a fun print and really flattering cut, it’s only $21! As Annabelle would say, “can you even believe it?!” I hope it comes through in these photos but it’s actually very well made. It even comes with a cute scarf you can tie around your waist.
I decided to pull my hair back because I didn’t want anything to compete with the dress and it’s always a million degrees at a summer wedding anyway.
The sleeves are sheer so you won’t overheat and if it gets chilly at night or you’re indoors with air conditioning you’re all set.
It’s one of those dresses that you’re just guaranteed to get a million compliments on.
This clutch is one of my favorites that I’ve had for years, I think I originally bought it for our honeymoon. They still have it at J.Crew factory and I love the updated version from J.Crew.
