Local ladies, today’s post is for you. You might have read on my Instagram last week that at one point in my life I aspired to be a hand model. I am being 100% honest that I actually thought about it and researched it. Unfortunately I was never able to find a talent agent and catch my big break but that doesn’t mean that I don’t treat my hands {and feet, they’re cute too!} like the stars that they are.
There are few things in life that cost around $50 and bring me as much joy as a manicure and pedicure. I try to get my nails done a couple times a month when I can so when I go to the salon I really want to be pampered. I recently started going to The TEN Nail Bar in Detroit and it is a dream.
While you can’t judge a book by it’s cover you can definitely judge a nail salon by it’s polish selection. Essie? Check. OPI? Check. A comparable gel polish for any shade you can think of? Check, check.
The TEN is located on Griswold street in Detroit’s Capital Park area. It’s a really great location and lucky for me it’s close enough that I can run down during lunch on day’s that I’m not super busy. I’ve never had a problem finding meter parking just a few blocks away which is super convenient. Oh and even better you can make your appointment online or via their app!
The staff at The TEN goes out of their way to make you feel like a princess even if it’s just for a polish change. They even offer champagne to every customer, how could you say no?
I’m so thrilled to have found such a modern salon in Detroit. I’ve been telling all my girlfriends and have been thinking of reasons to plan a girls spa day at The TEN. Who wants to come with me?
