as the weather gets colder, comfort and coziness become my top priority. ken thinks i’m dramatic but i am not happy when i’m cold – it’s just the worst feeling! so as the days get shorter and the temperature starts to drop i find myself reaching for sweaters more than anything else.
but what do you do when you want to add a little something to what could be considered a basic or boring look? add some interesting details, of course!
this chicwish sweater is definitely pretty from the front but when you see the back it’s a whole new look. i paired it with my favorite bralette but you could definitely do a cami or tank underneath for a more conservative look.
i’m not a huge fan of leggings but i really love the detail of this snakeskin pair from cotton and copper. they’re edgy enough for me to reconsider my stance and super flattering because they’re thick and the pattern helps hide any flaws.
and what’s the opposite of basic? oh that’s right, glitter! these sole society smoking slippers are my shoe version of a spirit animal. if someone wants to dare me to wear them everyday from now until christmas i’d have a hard time saying no.
