Dressing for date night can be particularity hard when you’re pregnant. I usually get pretty excited to put on a cute outfit and spend some time with my guy but the challenge of dressing the bump while still feeling sexy {and comfortable} is definitely real.
I think one general rule for dressing your bump at anytime during pregnancy, but especially for date night, is to stay true to your style. While the dress I’m wearing here is maternity it’s definitely a style and color I would wear when I’m not pregnant. I also paired it with a few of my favorite accessories to help it feel even truer to my style.
The other great thing about this dress {besides how gosh darn flattering it is!} is that it’s super versatile. While it’s perfect for date night if you put a cute t-shirt over it and paired it with sneakers it would be a perfect weekend look. You could also add a blouse or sweater knotted above your waist and a pair of flats or heels for the office. With almost all my maternity clothes it’s important that they can be worn more than one way – you have to make them stretch over the few months you’re wearing them!
