will you be my valentine?

Four month old Annabelle just never gets old.

I am a huge fan of Valentine’s Day, admittedly more for the pink and red decor than anything else. It was always my grandma’s favorite holiday and I think that rubbed off on me.

When I was in elementary school I absolutely loved shopping for and passing out Valentine’s. I remember in the third grade I had a teacher who required us to write something nice about every person in our classroom on their valentine card. I really thought about each one, carefully writing out the perfect compliment, even for some of the boys that I didn’t like. What a sweet way to make sure everyone feels loved and admired on Valentine’s day. It’s something I’ll pass down to Annabelle starting this year.

And speaking of Valentine’s cards, Minted has the most adorable collection of classroom valentines for kids. We’ve already ordered ours for Annabelle’s class and I’m so excited to share them with you next week. In the meantime, I’ve rounded up a few of our favorites. They are all too cute it was almost impossible to choose. They’re probably a bit more expensive than the one’s you’d find at a drugstore at supermarket but you’ll be the star of your kids classroom with these. Love!
