Here’s a fun fact about me, when I was younger my favorite movie was Dirty Dancing. And by younger I mean like 5. Which as a mom now definitely makes me question my moms judgement but it kept me occupied for hours at a time so really I can’t blame her.
Thankfully being so young I didn’t understand what was actually happening in the movie outside of the obvious – dancing! I was so into the dresses, the shoes, the moves – I would recreate the lift scene on the arm of our couch {when my dad wasn’t available} over and over again until I nailed it perfectly.
When I first tried this dress on I had a very playful moment reminiscent of those days. Seriously, what girl doesn’t love a good twirl?

To complete this look I added a leopard clutch and my favorite black block heel sandals. I love how the leopard is a fun pop against the neutral tone of the dress.
