Last weekend Ken and I took advantage of Annabelle sleeping over at her grandparents and went on a little day date. While the first part of the date consisted of taking pictures for the blog {he’s the best, yes?} I rewarded him for his morning of hard work by treating him to a delicious {and super healthy} lunch.
Local friends, have you been to Beyond Juice? There is one right near my office and they have another location in Detroit’s Eastern Market. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat {or drink} and their menu is so, so good. My favorites are their egg wraps, quinoa bowls, and their grab and go kale salad.
Since we’ve been making an attempt to eat healthier lately we haven’t been eating out much at all so this really felt like a treat for us!
Ken got the cilantro chicken wrap and I got the turkey avocado wrap.
I have worn this outfit the last three weekends. Even Annabelle is catching on and has asked me on multiple occasions, “Mama, you’re wearing your overalls again?” I’ve been telling her that I’m going to get her a matching pair. I really need to get a move on that if I’m going to keep wearing these.
