Friends! Happy Monday! We’re already in the holiday swing over here and instead of trying to fight it I’ve decided to just embrace it. The air is crisp, we’ve started building a fire every evening, and yesterday Ken brought up one of our lighted trees and I did not protest.
Which brings me to my next point. With my holiday spirit in full force I’ve decided to move away from my fall capsule a month early. Here’s the thing. I totally appreciated the ease and simplicity of a capsule wardrobe. I found it easier to get dressed each day and I really felt content with what I had. However, I found some holes in my planning and my capsule didn’t really feel right for winter and how I was feeling on the inside. As you know, fashion is a big part of how I express myself and so instead of holding myself accountable to complete my capsule {we’re still just talking about clothes here} I’m letting my inner Elf come out. Bring on the red, green, and tinsel!
The sweater and slides I’m wearing in these photos were actually a big part of my decision to transition my wardrobe. They just screamed cozy holiday chic to me and are both such affordable and versatile pieces! I finally feel like my clothes match my mood and I couldn’t be happier.
