pregnancy update | 30 weeks

Before I get too far into this post I’d like you to know that we took these pictures at about 6pm after a full day of wearing this white shirt and I didn’t spill anything on it. Just want to make sure I recognize the true miracle that happened here today, #blessed. Ok, on to this weeks pregnancy update!

How far along are you? 30 weeks, 2 days
So that makes your due date? June 24th!
How much weight have you gained? I had a bigger weight gain jump in the last few weeks, lucky me! I currently weigh 148 making my total weight gain 27 lbs. Hopefully that slows down over the last 10 weeks.
Any cravings? A lot of cereal. A lot of cinnamon rolls {thanks, Ikea}. A lot of baked goods in general. And salads. Thank goodness something healthy snuck in there. No wonder I’m gaining weight like it’s my job {it sort of is}!
What about symptoms? As you might have gathered from the color coded books in the bookcase behind me, nesting has started. I want to organize all the things and no one in this house is complaining. My energy is still pretty good although when I do actually sit down to rest it’s much harder to find the motivation to get up again. My upper back and abdomen is also getting tight which I assume is from everything moving up since the baby is quite literally running out of room.
Will you find out the gender? Nope! We didn’t find out with Annabelle and we’re excited to be surprised again.
Do you have names picked out? We’ve been talking more about the one’s we picked to make sure they’re the right fit. I have a feeling it will be a conversation all the way to the hospital.
Are you wearing maternity clothes? I’d say I’m in maternity clothes almost exclusively although I do still have a rotation of non-maternity favorites in the mix. At this point I’m hoping to not buy anything new for the bump. I’ve actually been picking up a few pieces for summer that will work for post-partum/nursing. Now I just have to cross my fingers that they fit my post-baby body!
Any purchases for the baby yet? Yes! I bought a swaddle for us to take to the hospital and a crib sheet {I’ll share both on Instagram once they arrive} and we’ve made a ton of progress on the nursery! We decided to use Annabelle’s crib which is just as perfect as I remember and in addition to the dresser that we thrifted and the glider that we had we’ve added a bookshelf. Curtains are going up this week and unfortunately the rug that I bought was too small so back to the drawing board there!

I can’t believe we have less than 10 weeks to go before we meet this babe! He or she has been moving around so much lately and it’s so exciting to think about who this little person will be. Thanks for following along with us!
