‘Tis almost the day of love and what better way to celebrate early than by incorporating an unexpected pop of red into your wardrobe? For me red is a funny color. I love red lipstick and generally I’m drawn to red when it comes to clothes, shoes, and other wardrobe accessories. However I almost never incorporate it into our decor unless of course it’s holiday appropriate. Even then I’ll pick a pink or a white decoration over red most days. I’ve read that in order to help inspire the colors you use in your home you should look to your closet and the clothes you wear most often but that just doesn’t work for me. Maybe it could help you, though?
I am really loving this color combination. I’ve actually seen similar but much more expensive versions of this wool skirt recently and I think it will become a great wardrobe staple. Plus I love how the fitted skirt balances out this looser fitting blouse.
Before you ask, those white tights I’m wearing are actually my legs in January. So no, they’re not available for purchase. 😉
