my everyday makeup

happy friday! today i wanted to share a peek into my everyday beauty routine and the products i’ve found to be most effective when you’re pressed for time.

i started following cara’s blog a few years ago after finding her hair tutorials on pinterest. she made it look effortless to recreate runway inspired hair and had the most fun and down to earth personality. i was hooked! when she relaunched her iiid foundation i knew i needed to try it. i had no idea how to hac {highlight and contour} but i trusted cara so i ordered my first palette and waited nervously patiently for it to arrive. not surprisingly, the makeup was wonderful. easy to apply, lasted all day, matched my skin tone perfectly and didn’t break the bank. since my initial purchase i’ve invested in additional blushes {because all of the colors are amazing!} and a few brushes {because they are honestly the best i’ve ever used} and consider myself a maskcara cosmetics devotee. cara has tons of helpful demos and tutorials on her blog and instagram so i’m just going to show you my before and after using the products and list which one’s i use. if you have any questions at all, please feel free to leave a comment below. thanks for reading!

• blush in pink grapefruit {on both my cheeks and lips}, i also have ruby and dahlia
