ole henriksen power bright

last friday i poured myself a glass of wine and gave myself the most luxurious home facial treatment that i’ve ever done. of course i made ken photograph the entire event! our date nights are so weird 😉

ole henriksen power bright is a three-step brightening system {aka face mask} with a high concentration of vitamin c that claims to deliver results after just one use. i put it to the test and thought it would be fun to share my experience and results with you!

step one is the truth sugar glow polishing mask. it smells amazing! it went on really smooth and has a slightly warm feeling but it’s not intense at all. you leave this on for 5-10 minutes, massage into your face and then wipe clean. when i took it off my skin already felt brighter!

step two is the truth 25% vitamin c concentrate. this smells just like suntan lotion {in a good way}. again it went on really smooth and felt very luxurious – like a thick, rich cream. you leave this on for 2-3 minutes and then move on to step three.

step three is the pure truth melting cleanser. i seriously want to bathe in this stuff! it felt more like an oil than a cleanser. it went on super smooth {because why would it not after the previous two steps} and it felt very hydrating. this might have been my favorite step.

you guys, i loved this! i am really into pampering myself at home since i don’t like to spend the time or money to go to a salon or spa. the thing that i liked most about this system was that it wasn’t just one step. i really felt like it was working hard for me and the results were amazing! i can totally see myself doing this a couple times a month when my skin is feeling dull and i need to relax and unwind.
