hello! i hope everyone had a great easter. we really had a wonderful day. the weather was so nice and holiday’s are getting so fun with annabelle being able to understand and interact more! we had a bit of an unfortunate situation on saturday and ken’s camera broke. despite the fact that it was already 5pm we rushed to the camera store and were able to send it in for repairs and ken upgraded to a new camera he had been eyeing. it was an unexpected investment but i was so happy that we were able to take photos on sunday! after you have a professional camera the iphone just doesn’t cut it for special days!
i try not to be ‘that mom’ that’s overly matching with her kids, but sometimes i get stuck on a theme and can’t help it! i found the perfect yellow clogs for annabelle and just so happened to have a yellow pair of pumps just waiting to see the light of a beautiful spring day! to go with the citrus theme, i wore my favorite sonnet james dress. if you haven’t heard of sonnet james you absolutely need to check them out! whitney {the owner and creator} set out to create a line of durable, machine-washable dresses for mothers who want to be playful with their kids and feel beautiful. i have two of her dresses and i just adore them. when i got them last year we were going through a major spit up phase and nothing i wore was safe from not being washed over and over again. despite having had my dresses for over a year {and what seems like tons of wears and washes} they are still as lovely as the day i received them! it’s such a fun concept and after following whitney on social media i just love supporting her and her family. their new spring line comes out in april and i’m counting the days!
i hope you enjoy our photos from the day!
