Back to life, back to reality as they say. Our sweet Josephine is 12 weeks old today which means it’s time for my maternity leave to end. If you’ve been following along over on Instagram you know that she started daycare yesterday so I could catch up on a few last minute errands before returning to work full time today. Overall she did great but I’m definitely glad only a couple days separate us from the weekend. I’m already missing my baby snuggles!
These photos were taken a little over a month ago which already feels like forever. Each day moves so slowly when you’re caring for a newborn but looking back it truly feels like Josephine was just born yesterday. I’m so thankful we took the time on this particular day to get a few photos of our newly formed {and final} family of four. There are definitely a few shots that I’ll cherish forever. Can you believe I have two girls? I can’t.
Annabelle had band-aids on her little toes because she scraped them in the pool. It seems silly but these are the moments I want to remember forever.
These two have the sweetest bond that just keeps getting stronger. Maybe someday I’ll be as cool and funny as them.

That stuffed dog in Jojo’s crib is Herman and he’s belonged to Ken for nearly 40 years. I had him refurbished a few years ago for Father’s Day and he’s lived in both of our girls nurseries. I have a sneaking suspicion that he’ll move into our room when the girls have outgrown him 😉
