Another week closer to meeting our sweet babe! Things are definitely starting to feel more real over here. I asked a question on Instagram yesterday to see when moms of two or more went into labor with their second child compared to their first. I was actually surprised by how many women went into labor at similar times with their subsequent pregnancies. I went into labor with Annabelle just before 39 weeks and I’ve been hoping the same will be true for this pregnancy. That means we might have less than 8 weeks before we meet our peanut. Gah! Read on to see what’s up with my pregnant this week.
How far along are you? 31 weeks, 2 days
So that makes your due date? June 24th!
How much weight have you gained? I weigh 149 lbs. which is a total weight gain of 28 lbs.
Any cravings? My appetite is ramping up again and I’m just trying to keep up. This week I started craving overnight oats {I have the best/easiest recipe, I’ll share it here soon!} which as cravings go has to be one of the better ones. I’ve also been craving hard boiled eggs. I ordered an egg salad sandwich at the deli for lunch yesterday and didn’t realize until I got back to my office that they gave me tuna salad. Of course I ate it anyway but I was a little sad the rest of the day.
What about symptoms? I’m still experiencing back pain here and there and I’m definitely starting to waddle. Overall I just feel heavy and super out of shape. I’m already looking forward to getting back into a regular exercise routine after the baby comes!
Will you find out the gender? Nope! I don’t even have a feeling either way. I can’t wait to be surprised!
Do you have names picked out? Yes! Names are locked and loaded {assuming Will and Kate don’t take our boy name we should be good}.
Are you wearing maternity clothes? Yes! My poor clothes are just bursting at the seams. I have about one pair of maternity jeans that still fit and I’m feeling extra thankful that the weather is getting warmer so I can wear comfortable dresses from here on out.
Any purchases for the baby this week? The nursery is definitely coming along! Last weekend we hung curtains and a few bookshelves {which turned into a debacle, old houses will do that} and I got the coolest lamp. I still haven’t found a rug I’m in love with so that will be the last major item we’ll need to get before baby. I’ve also started thinking about a diaper bag!
