Pregnancy Update | 33 weeks

The weeks are flying by and it’s crazy to think there are less than 7 weeks until my due date! Fun fact: I was actually born at 33 weeks while my mom and dad were on vacation in Northern Michigan. When I think about the fact that there’s a “me sized” baby in my belly – wow! Here’s the latest with baby number two this week.

How far along are you? 33 weeks, 3 days
So that makes your due date? June 24th!
How much weight have you gained? I’m up to 153 lbs. which is a total gain of 32 lbs. I was hoping things would slow down in these last few weeks but I guess that’s what a steady diet of apple fritters, lemon meringue pie, and Pocky will do to you.
Any cravings? Nothing crazy this week but the overall theme continues to be carbs and desserts. Oh and sauerkraut! Weird, right?!
What about symptoms? My upper back {near my ribs} has been killing me and I just can’t seem to get comfortable. It’s definitely worse if I’m sitting for too long so I’ve been trying to get up and walk around or stand up throughout the day.
Will you find out the gender? No, we’re not finding out although everyone around me seems to think they know for certain! I had another dream this week that the baby is a boy but my symptoms are definitely leaning more towards girl.
Do you have names picked out? We’ve stopped talking about it. At this point I’m just hoping we can decide while we’re still in the hospital.
Are you wearing maternity clothes? Oh gosh yes! I’m getting a little worried about what clothes {if any} will last me until the end. Mama’s, what did you wear towards the end of your spring/summer pregnancies?!
Any purchases for the baby this week? The nursery is almost finished! The rug is coming today and I’m debating between two mirrors to hang above the crib. After that it will just be a few final special decorations and we’ll be ready!
