Nothing says spring is near more than a chic gingham print. Ok maybe actual spring weather helps too but stick with me here – gingham, friends!
The thing I love most about this top {despite the adorable pattern} is it’s versatility. First, it’s a style that you can wear both during and after pregnancy – I have been drawn to pieces with this type of functionality throughout this pregnancy and I’m eager to see how much wear I get out of them after the baby comes – stay tuned on that! It’s also really easy to wear for various different occasions – the way it’s styled here would work for a weekend brunch or happy hour but with a sleeker denim or white pant you could easily wear this to the office.
I love these monthly updates! And I love the term “wardrobe purgatory! Oddly enough, I have a navy and white gingham flannel shirt that I feel like is in my wardrobe purgatory, too. Somehow it feels a little dated? But it”s gingham! And navy! It SHOULD feel classic, right? I”ll probably hang onto it a little longer to see if I come around on it, but it”s not sparking much excitement these days.
