today i’m talking about my every day, every morning, get out of the house as quickly as possible while still looking like a put together human being, makeup.
i’ve listed the products in the order of how i use them. maybe some day i’ll do a video but in the meantime you’ll just have to use your imagination. not pictured is lipstick, which i did a post on last week.
- juice beauty phyto-pigments illuminating primer. i use this a few minutes after applying my moisturizer. it helps my makeup stay in place and gives me a nice healthy glow.
- e.l.f. clear brow & lash mascara. next i go over my brows with this gel, brushing them upwards towards my forehead to prime them to be filled in.
- shu uemura eyelash curler. typically i only curl my eyelashes if i’m not wearing eyeliner, or if i’m applying makeup for the evening.
- revlon photoready kajal eye pencil in matte charcoal. i don’t apply eye liner everyday but when i do i really like this one. it goes on smoothly, can be smudged easily and is a great color, not too dark for everyday.
- maybelline new york the colossal volum’ express washable mascara in glam black. i’ve talked about my love for this mascara before after an extensive vetting process. i still love it and use it everyday!
- onomie bright concealing elixir. this brand is new to me but it’s very highly rated, this product even won an allure best of beauty award which is very prestigious! in addition to doing an amazing job of concealing my dark circles it also claims to reduce dark circles over time which after about one month of use i can say that i see happening!
- onomie a.c.e. illuminating eye treatment in lovelace. i apply this from my cheekbones up to my brow bones in a “c”. it gives such a nice glow with just a hint of sparkle {in a good way} and is proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles – yes please!
- bobbi brown pot rouge for lips & cheeks in pale pink. this is a great cream blush that goes on smoothly and has great pigment.
- colourpop dope taupe eyebrow pencil. i like this pencil so much i wrote an entire post on it here. it’s $5 and i buy 6 at a time to get free shipping. don’t judge me.
most days i stop there but i included a couple additional products as honorable mention. - eyeko eye do liquid eyeliner. this is my very favorite liquid eyeliner and really the only one i can do a cat eye with. i use this for special occasions and when i’m feeling particularly frisky.
- urban decay grindhouse double barrel sharpener. this is the best sharpener for eyeliners, lip crayons and pencils, and anything else that might need to be sharpened.
