Everyday Favorites

I’m always super interested in products people really like and actually use. Here is a random collection of my favorite things that I use or wear {almost} everyday.

Style

1.Simple studs | These are delicate enough to wear everyday {sometimes I even sleep in them} but special enough to make an impact. And madewell.com always offers free shipping!

2. D’orsay flats | This pair is currently sold out but I included them because of the style in particular. Before becoming pregnant and having a child I rarely wore flats but now it’s just not as realistic to rock a heel daily. The d’orsay style is really flattering and the pattern is neutral enough that they go with nearly anything. These are also great.

3. Spanx tights | I {unlike most people} love Spanx. Since it’s not practical to wear this type of undergarment on a daily basis the tights are a really great option. I’ve had the same 2 pairs {one black, one gray} for the past 3-4 years (tip: look for them at Nordstrom rack!} and they’re still in awesome condition.

4. Over the knee boot | These were a recent black Friday purchase and I literally wore them everyday last week. They’re chic and comfortable and a bit unexpected.

5. Reversible {faux} leather tote | This has a similar look to the Madewell transport tote but is much more affordable. Since it’s reversible I can switch it out every season.

Beauty

6. Fresh soy face cleanser | I really enjoy the fresh scent of this face wash. Typically I alternate between fresh and this.

7. Boots face wipes | I use face wipes for two reasons. To take my makeup off before cleansing {when I’m feeling really motivated} or to take my makeup off before going to bed {because I’ve heard it’s really important}. These work great for both purposes. For me it’s hard to find a cleansing wipe that fully removes my eye makeup and these do the trick.

8. Revlon brow fantasy | I ran out of brow pencil before leaving for a trip a couple weeks ago and my only option was CVS. After a quick google search I took a chance on this one. Surprisingly, it works like many of the professional brow pencils I’ve tried and I’ve basically tried them all. Plus it has the brow gel attached so in my opinion it’s a great value. I use the dark blonde color.

9. Makeup setting spray | My mom bought me this for Christmas last year and it lasted almost a full year even with daily use. It really helps to set your makeup so it lasts all day.

10. Maskcara cosmetics iiid foundation palette | I follow Cara’s blog and absolutely love her beauty advice. I decided to try her makeup line since she seems so authentic, and I really love it. It’s simple, inexpensive and so effective. I think I’m going to do a tutorial soon!

11. Maskcara cosmetics iid foundation brush | This was the first brush Cara came out with, and it’s great. I’m also planning on getting this and this soon.

12. Charlotte tilbury eye pencil | This goes on really smooth and has lasted a surprisingly long time despite my daily use. I really love all of the charlotte tilbury products I’ve tried, including this and this.

Baby

13. California baby overtired & cranky bubble bath | We were previously using honest body wash for Annabelle’s baths but recently ran out. I was having a hard time finding something that produced a lot of bubbles {to me, bubbles = clean} until I found this. Plus the name is just hilarious and obviously really accurate.

14. Freshly Picked moccasins | I got Annabelle her first pair of mocc’s at six months. Prior to that it just seemed pointless to put shoes on such a tiny human. I decided on rose gold for obvious reasons and she’s just growing out of them now, 8 months later. They’re definitely an investment for the price but I’d rather have one pair of these than five cheaper versions from Carter’s.

15. Coconut oil | Annabelle has really sensitive skin which means she gets frequent diaper rashes. We use cloth diapers and a lot of the over the counter diaper creams aren’t compatible with them. We keep a small bowl of coconut oil on her dresser and use it with almost every diaper change. it’s very inexpensive, lasts forever and smells great.

Thanks for reading. I’d love to hear about the products you can’t live without!
