i’m feeling blue

I'm not actually feeling blue. To be honest, I'm feeling really happy and productive lately. Leave it to the third trimester of pregnancy to surprise you sometimes.

pregnancy update | 30 weeks

Before I get too far into this post I'd like you to know that we took these pictures at about 6pm after a full day of wearing this white shirt and I didn't spill anything on it. Just want to make sure I recognize the true miracle that happened here today, #blessed. Ok, on to this weeks pregnancy update!

pregnancy update | 28 weeks

Happy Monday! Hope your Easter was hoppin'! I was going to skip doing an update this week since I'm up to my ears in other {probably} more important things but it's the third trimester and I've always been a really good procrastinator so what the heck, here goes!

easy peasy lemon squeezy

Happy Friday, friends! I'm actually working from home today because Annabelle's school is closed in observance of Good Friday. We're getting very excited for Easter around here and we can't wait to celebrate it's true meaning, the resurrection of our Lord!

pregnancy update | 27 weeks

Well friends, we've made it just about 2/3 of the way through this pregnancy. And by we I mean me because let's be honest, I've been doing all of the work over here. Ken and I got away for a little staycation this weekend {more to come on that later this week} and it felt great to get out and spend a little time alone. Just Kenny, me, and this bunch of bananas in my belly. If you'd like to hear what's been up with the bump over the past few weeks, read on...

every vitamin I take during pregnancy and why

A few weeks ago I was refilling my weekly pill organizers and I thought to myself, I wonder if other people would find this interesting? So I quickly documented which vitamins I take on a daily basis along with why I chose each one and shared it on Instagram stories. I got a ton of questions in response - which was amazing!

my very favorite maternity jeans

Let's be honest - it's hard enough to find good jeans when you're not pregnant let alone finding a good pair for an ever changing, ever growing body. It's something I've always struggled with in general {insert vivid memory of me crying in the junior department dressing room at Macy's when I was 13 because I could not find one pair of jeans that fit me} and it's why in my adult years I've definitely been drawn to dresses and skirts over jeans and pants. However, there are a lot of times when jeans are just the most practical option {like during a winter pregnancy, for example} and if you find yourself pregnant in almost any season you're going to want a good pair of maternity jeans.
