Jump{suit}ing for Spring!

Do you know what I love? Spring. It’s just so fresh, and new, and promising. Living in a cold-weather climate is not for the faint of heart. It can seriously toy with your emotions and make you question your sanity on a fairly regular basis. For example, today in our area it was about 50 degrees and sunny. Not warm by any stretch but totally nice for this time of year. And then as I’m typing this I just got a weather alert on my phone that said: Snow Incoming. A quick shot of snow is on its way in your area. Cool. Literally.

But spring is the promise that all of that s-n-o-w is behind us, at least for a *few* months. It’s the breath of fresh air we all need at just the right time. So what does that have to do with my new jumpsuit? Mostly nothing, but it’s not super winter appropriate so spring brings hope and this jumpsuit into my regular wardrobe rotation. Yay.

I realize jumpsuits aren’t for everyone. I also realize denim jumpsuits aren’t for everyone. Luckily you can justify this for a couple reasons. First, it’s affordable. I’m sure you’ve heard time and time again that you should invest in classic pieces and keep your spending on trendier items to a minimum. At under $40 this is the perfect price point for something you’ll probably only wear for a season or two {although I do think it has staying power!}. And second, it’s so freaking comfortable. It is the perfect outfit for basically any weekend function, from soccer practice to date night and it feels like wearing pajamas. I promise.

So take a deep breath, zip up your jumpsuit, and celebrate mama because spring is {almost!} here. We did it.
