As much as I’d like to claim that my style is 100% unique it is most definitely not. For me, fashion inspiration comes from everywhere {the weather, my mood, sometimes even practicality} including the stores I shop at and the brands I love. A few weeks ago I stared noticing this particular ad from J. Crew showing up everywhere – in my social feeds, on the side bar of websites I’d visit, and featured on their site. I loved the idea of wearing camo for spring {for me it’s usually been reserved as a fall or winter print} and pairing it with a lightweight striped top and slides. It’s such a cute and unexpected look. I immediately wanted to recreate it even knowing it might be a bit more challenging because I couldn’t buy the exact pieces – there is no way I’m wearing things that zip or button lately! So I set out to source my own version and I must say I’m thrilled with the results!
