pregnancy update | 20 weeks

We made it half way! Actually, Annabelle was born at 39 weeks so if that's any indication of when baby #2 will come I could have less than 20 weeks to go. I wouldn't go so far as to say things are flying by but I finally feel like we're making progress! [show_shopthepost_widget id="3017986"]

planning a babymoon

Back your bags, friends. We're going on a babymoon! Just kidding actually. But since it's been basically zero degrees here for the last month I've decided to start planning one. If only to keep my mind on warmer days ahead.

pregnancy update | 17 weeks

It's hard to believe that in just a few weeks I'll be half way through this pregnancy. In some ways it's flown by but in others I almost can't remember when I wasn't pregnant {constant nausea will do that to a girl}.  [show_shopthepost_widget id="2990818"]

pregnancy post: 10 outfits to wear in your first trimester

If you've experience a first trimester of pregnancy you know that it's quite different from almost anything you've experienced when it comes to being a functioning member of society while keeping the largest secret of your life all the while trying to stay awake and managing not to puke in public. Fun times I tell you, fun times. While I don't have much advice on combating the very common first trimester symptoms like fatigue, nausea, and bloating, I can offer some help when it comes to dressing that {very tiny} bump! Here's a recap of ten outfits I wore during my first trimester that maximized comfort and camouflaged my changing body.

pregnancy update | 14 weeks

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had the most wonderful, magical holiday spent with the ones you love! We had the very best couple days celebrating with friends and family. As sad as I am that it seems to go by faster every year I'm so excited for what {and who!} the new year will bring for our family. Here's a little update on my pregnancy this week.  [show_shopthepost_widget id="2966784"]

how we give back {and easy ways you can too!}

This year for Annabelle's birthday we were fresh off of our stay in the hospital and had just recently received her JIA {juvenile idiopathic arthritis} diagnosis. We were feeling blessed beyond measure with what we had and so fortunate that our girl didn't have to spend any more time in the hospital.

santa!

This little peanut was so nervous to see the big guy that she wouldn't even smile for a photo beforehand {or during, you'll see...}. She just played it very cool and serious, saving all of her nervous energy for later I suppose.  [show_shopthepost_widget id="2959665"]

and then there were FOUR!

SURPRISE! We've been keeping a little secret for a couple months! We could not be more excited to be adding to our family in June!  [show_shopthepost_widget id="2953369"]

our holiday family photos

I'm so very excited to share our holiday photos with you! They truly are my vision come to life and I'd like to thank the lovely and talented Niki Marie {or Miss Niki as Annabelle calls her} for taking them for us! [show_shopthepost_widget id="2939500"]
